Building Rental

Are you planning a special event - a concert or performance, business meeting, crafting day, fundraiser, awards event, shower, grad party, holiday gathering, birthday party, or individual or small group rehearsal? We just might be able to meet your needs!

Headwaters is conveniently located in downtown Bemidji, and as an independent non-profit arts organization, we are eager to build our earning capacity by making our building available to the community for one-time events or ongoing building use arrangements. The second floor food prep area may be used for no additional fee.

Headwaters Music & Arts’ mission is to provide opportunities for creativity through instruction and to inspire the community through music and the arts. Our goal is to provide a convenient, clean, accessible and pleasant location to the community. Our performance hall has very good acoustics, lovely natural light, and is home to a Yamaha grand piano. The space works well for meetings, retreats, showers, small weddings, receptions, memorial services or graduations, crafting groups, music shows and family gatherings. The performance hall has a small stage. 100 chairs and 4 long tables are available. Groups also have access to a second-floor kitchen for basic food prep. At Headwaters Music & Arts, we pay respect to the Native Peoples on whose ancestral homelands we gather. As part of this commitment, Headwaters allocates up to 6 hours per month use of the performance hall by indigenous groups.
