Apple Blossom Summer Camp and Headwaters Music and Arts have teamed up to offer summer programming for children ages 4 ½ to 8 Monday, August 14 – Thursday, August 17. We have three flexible scheduling options – sign up for just the morning, just the afternoon, or attend both sessions!
Fairytales and Folklore Camp
Join us in the magical outdoor space at Rail River Folk School for four mornings of storytelling fun! Each day begins with a story told using props or puppets: Jack and the Beanstalk, Mashenka and the Bear, the Legend of Arachne the Weaver, and The Three Little Pigs. We will explore the Story of the Day through imaginative play and a real life activity based on the story: gardening, cooking, fiber arts, and fort building. Use your imagination to change or add to the story as we play among the gardens and trees. Snack provided.

Creativity Camp 1-4pm
From Picasso to Mozart, explore your creative side with an afternoon of lively, hands-on art and music activities. Bring to life famous artists like Van Gogh and Jackson Pollock as you create your own works of art each day. Wear clothes you can paint in! Make your own instrument including a guitar, violin, or kazoo. Have a music lesson on violin, guitar, cello or piano. You will be treated to music themed snacks. Join us 3:30 Thursday for a celebration!
