Description

Headwaters Fiddle Camp is set for June 17-21!

Headwaters Fiddle Camp invites string musicians with at least one year playing experience to join us for a week of making music. The 2024 camp introduces a focus on Bluegrass music, along with the opportunity to make your own ukulele. Are you a youth or adult with at least one year playing experience on a stringed instrument such as violin, viola, bass, mandolin, guitar, or ukulele? Please join us for a week of playing, learning and fun! Headwaters welcomes back a dynamite team of talented instructors: Eric Carlson, Carrie Dlutkowski, Sawyer Corcoran, Mary Vanorny, and Brian Miller.

Activity materials are provided. Please bring your instrument, a sack lunch and water bottle to camp each day.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota, through a grant from the Region 2 Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Scholarship funds are available for this program. Follow this link to apply.

All participants or guardians are required to read and sign the Headwaters Art Program Policies when attending any Headwaters Group Class.

Please note: $40 of the total camp fee will be retained as a nonrefundable deposit. If you would like to register for camp and pay only the deposit now, please call Headwaters Music & Arts at 218-444-5606. Headwaters requires 2 weeks’ notice prior to the start date of a camp to provide a refund. Participants who do not give 2 weeks’ notice and do not attend the program will not be refunded their camp fee. Read more about our refunds policies here.
