Headwaters Rock Band Boot Camp is a ‘group performance’ class for musicians ages 10 to 17 with one to two years of experience playing guitar, drums, piano, bass or voice (participants are encouraged to bring a secondary instrument as well if they would like to learn how to improvise!)

Rock Band Boot Camp is a condensed version of our afterschool Rock Band Program. The camp focuses on learning covers, songwriting, chord progressions, scales, singing harmonies, soloing, band communication, and how participants can thrive with their fellow bandmates in a live setting all over the course of 5 summer afternoons. The young rockers will find a supportive environment to try out other instruments if they choose. Participants will work together as a band to pick what tunes their unique group will practice and learn, drawing from the many rad decades of rock ‘n roll. The week will culminate with a live rock show for family and friends.

40% of your camp fee will be retained as a nonrefundable registration fee. Headwaters requires a 30 day notice prior to the start date of a camp to provide a refund. Participants who do not give 30 days notice will not be refunded their camp fees. You are required to read and sign the Art Program Policies when attending any Headwaters Group Class.
