Headwaters CoffeeHouse kicks off a new season 7pm Friday, September 6 at Headwaters Music & Arts, Bemidji. They are pleased to announce the 2019 Bemidji Sings! Vocal Competition winners as this month’s featured performers.

Held on the first Friday of most months, the CoffeeHouse offers a supportive and welcoming open-mic opportunity for musicians and spoken-word performers. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to sign up for a 10 to 15 minute set. Sign up begins at 6:30 or by email to jjhgaard@gmail.com.

Kari Grace, April Aylesworth, Charlotte Saxton and Susannah Carter emerged as winners of the recent Bemidji Sings! competition. Each advances to the state contest in Woodbury, MN this September. But first, they share their talents at the CoffeeHouse.

Performers and audience alike appreciate the friendly tone and reasonable fee, $3/person or $7/family. Coffeehouse fare is available.

Fun, welcoming, family friendly and supportive, the event has a relaxed and casual tone that encourages musicians, singers, and spoken word performers of all ages and skill levels.
