Headwaters Open-Mic CoffeeHouse convenes Friday, December 7 from 7-10pm at Headwaters Music & Arts in Bemidji. The CoffeeHouse offers a supportive and family-friendly environment for performers and audience alike. Sign-up begins at 6:30. Good coffeehouse fare is provided by Cantabria Coffee Co.
Kiki and Greg Webb of dancing Light host this month’s event. Performing between 60 and 75 shows a year, Kiki and Greg offer a blend of cosmic acoustic music and a call for love. The Coffeehouse will be in good hands.
Held on the first Friday of most months, Headwaters Open-Mic CoffeeHouse features music and spoken word performance. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to sign up for a 10 to 15 minute set. Admission is $3/person or $7/family.
Kiki and Greg met on the stage of the Florida Theater in 1988. A trained classical musician, Kiki infuses her music with a passion for peace and environmental justice. Greg taught himself to play acoustic guitar in St. Cloud where he launched his career singing R&B with a traveling band.
